Lampard has been missing from the past two Chelsea games due to a family emergency, where his mother was taken to hospital with pneumonia.
Chelsea manager Avram Grant was not sure whether Lampard would be available for the game, but it was confirmed by the midfielder’s agent that he would be available to be picked.
This news will be great news for Grant who see’s Lampard as a key player in his side and thinks that Lampard could be one of the player that decides who goes thorugh to the final.
Chelsea should also have Didier Drogba and Michael Ballack back in contention as well after both players missed the last Chelsea match against Everton.
